Our Easter

Easter Sunday around these parts was wonderful and low-key.  Maddie was thrilled to find a basket of treats and toys.  She especially loves kissing her new baby (that she helped the Easter bunny pick out), and I've found her multiple times today pointing to her little basket that's sitting on the shelf.

Josh and I taught our little 4 year olds in primary yesterday.  What a cute and smart group of kids.  It was fun to hear them talk about what Easter is all about.

And on a totally different note... check out this crazy Easter egg hunt we went to Saturday.  This is real - all for an Easter Egg hunt! We were a little blown away and ended up watching from the sidelines.  Next year I think we'll set up our own.

A boat and a mountain

Last week might have topped the list in my books... a day spent boating + a day spent (snow) skiing.  Oh how we love Utah.  Both were freezing... especially skiing surprisingly.  We were kind of anticipating warm spring skiing at the beginning of April but boy, were we wrong - it was one of the coldest ski days I've ever had.  We're kind of babies when it comes to cold and only lasted a few hours.  But we  had a blast... and boating?  We were on cloud 9... all of us, even Maddie.  We might be done snow skiing for this year, but bring on the summer boating!

More from Academy J

A few recent photos for Academy J by the always-talented Sarah Jenson (most amazing friend/ photographer/ business partner).  Thanks to the beautiful Brighton Taylor and Marae Wright for modeling and Nicolette Ballif for styling.  Aren't these girls beautiful?  And of course I love my little Maddie.
