This past week Maddie and I went berry picking with our awesome neighbor. I thought I'd get some berries out of it, but I had no clue how much fun we would have. The farm is owned by a sweet farmer who tells you to eat as you pick (I think we ate more than we kept). Maddie ended with a red raspberry nose and a newfound love for berries. I left with 3 1/2 pounds of berries for $7. Such a perfect way to welcome fall.
